How closely does valuation track model quality?
Spearman rank correlation, computed by us over the labs that have both figures (+1 = the most valuable labs always have the better models, 0 = no relation, −1 = the opposite). With this few labs it is a description of the current list, not a statistical finding.

Anthropic has the highest last closed valuation ($965B). Among valued labs, Anthropic has the best Arena rank (#2) and Anthropic the best AA Intelligence Index (57.6).
Which top labs have no valuation here?
Google DeepMind, Meta Superintelligence Labs, Alibaba (Qwen), Z.ai (Zhipu): no lab-level valuation is published (they are part of larger companies or have none on record), so they are left out rather than estimated.
What does the correlation mean?
ρ = +0.6 against Arena and +0.66 against the AA Index (computed by us). Close to +1 would mean investors price labs in the same order the leaderboards rank their models.
